NOTICE: We have Retired!

As of July 1, 2026, after 25 yeas of operating the Log House Homestead B & B, Dick & Martha Hartley, innkeepers, owners, and builders of this log structure are retiring.  It has been a “wonderful journey” as we hosted new acquaintances from some 36 states and 10 other countries.  Martha says our guests have not just seen a log house museum, but have actually gotten to stay in one.  Dick says it’s only a human being who would take a natural round log and hew it into a square timber to build iconic log homes. Many, many thanks to out past guests. We look forward to the next chapter of our life.
